Who can participate
Only applicants meeting all of the following criteria as of 27th April 2008 are eligible to enter the competition: You must be… a South African citizen or permanent resident 21 years of age or older not be a un-rehabilitated insolvent In order to be successful, you will need to submit an initial business summary that: Has a two year goal of creating at least 10 new jobs in rural/non-metro South Africa Will generate an additional R1 million in revenue within 2 years Is designed to attract at least R100 000 in additional funding Will operate in the construction, tourism, light-manufacturing or agriculture sectors
