To successfully apply online please follow these steps…
1. Read carefully all of the information on the “Applicant Guide” pages located in the main menu on the left side of the website. Please make sure you fully understand the rules of the competition and the application process.
2. Click on the green link at the bottom of the page that says “Click here to download the Application Form.”
3. Save the application as a Word Document onto your computer/pen drive, etc. Once you have done this, you can work on the application without being online.
4. Complete pages 1 and 2. Then save this portion of the application.
5. Type your three-page business concept summary according to the requirements and outline. Replace the summary guidelines page with your completed business concept summary and save.
You should now have a complete application with Pages 1 and 2, a 3-page business-concept summary, and the ‘Participation Agreement and Certification’ page. (6 pages total)
6. Print out your application for your records and then sign and date the ‘Participation Agreement and Certification’ page (the last page). You are now ready to submit/upload your application.
7. Log on to www.believe-begin-become.com (Ghana home page) again and return to the ‘Apply Now’ Page. At the bottom of the page click the ‘Browse’ button. Find your completed Application document on your computer/pen drive and select it (click on it twice).
8. You should now be back on the web page with the name of your application document in the box next to the ‘Browse’ button. Now click the ‘Upload'' button. Please be sure that you upload your complete application. Please note that this may take some time depending on your internet connetion speed.
9. Go to the nearest TechnoServe office or the nearest branch of the Ghana Commercial Bank and pay the non-refundable application fee of GHc50 to account number 1261130003645 (Account Name: TechnoServe Inc.) Please provide your first, middle and surname and your date of birth on the deposit slip.
10. Fax your deposit slip and the signed ''Participant Agreement and Certification'' form to the TechnoServe Accra office. Fax. No: 021 772-789
